Awana Meets Wednesday Evenings from 6:00-8:00 pm. Below are the different elements of the Awana Ministry:

6:00-6:30 pm Dinner

Opening Ceremony
The purpose of the Opening Ceremony is to bring clubbers together at the beginning of the evening. It consists of prayer, worship songs, and general announcements.

Game Time
Game Time is a highly charged and fast moving time of recreation and competition, supervised diligently and capably by our staff.  It provides structured fun that interests kids, but also teaches them the value of teamwork and acceptance.

Handbook Time (Small Group Time)
Handbook Time is devoted to scripture memorization, explanation, and learning. Leaders provide one-on-one time with the clubbers answering their questions and listening. This is where important relationship building takes place.

Large Group Time
The Scripture for the night is explained in creative, engaging, and thought-provoking ways by our large group Bible teacher.

Closing Rally
This is the last thing that happens at Awana. Children are safely delivered to their parents through our trained check-out team

Theme Nights
Theme Nights are a way for children and leaders to have fun while learning the Bible. Check our calendar for the various theme nights during the Awana semester.

Uniforms
An important part of Awana is to establish unity and discipline within children (and leaders). Awana uses uniforms to assist in this effort. Uniforms are also a neat place to display awards.
