Senior Pastor

Pastor Richard Sandberg is our current Senior Pastor. He is originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a master's in Christian Apologetics and has been in pastoral ministry since 2008.  He is married to his wife Ashton who is an elementary school teacher and has three children Colleen, David, and Emmalyn.  Richard is active in missions both locally, nationally, and around the world as a chaplain with his local sheriff’s department, and a trainer and volunteer with BGAV disaster response and mission work in Panama. In his free time, Richard is an author, a musician who writes music, sings and plays a variety of instruments, and is a self-described sports fan, geek, chef, and foodie.
