Richard Sandberg

Senior Pastor

Pastor Richard Sandberg has served as the Senior Pastor of Corinth Baptist Church since February 2024. Originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, he’s a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a master’s degree in Christian Apologetics. Richard has been serving in pastoral ministry since 2008 and has a heart for helping people grow in their faith through biblical teaching and authentic relationships.

He and his wife, Ashton, who teaches at the elementary school, have three wonderful children—Colleen, David, and Emmalyn. Richard is active in missions both locally and around the world, serving as a chaplain, trainer, and volunteer with BGAV Disaster Response, and working with the BGAV and Dover Baptist Association on the Child Safety Initiative.

When he’s not preaching or serving, you’ll probably find him writing, playing music, cooking something new in the kitchen, or cheering on his favorite teams. He is a self-described “sports fan, geek, board game enthusiast, chef, and foodie”.
